37th ANNUAL PIVOT MINISTRIES GRADUATION/BANQUET

37th Annual Pivot Ministries Graduation Banquet/Celebration
Saturday May 5th, 2007
5:00pm - 9:00pm
Trinity Baptist Church
300 Benson St.
Fairfield, Ct. 06824

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
PIVOT MINISTRIES, a locally administered not for profit (EIN 06-0839030); faith based drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, is celebrating its 37th year of ministry in the Norwalk and Bridgeport communities.
Upon admission to the program, men receive immediate shelter, orientation and evaluation in our Bridgeport center. After 3-4 months they are transferred to our residence in Norwalk, where they will spend an additional 3-4 months. Many of the residents who come into our program have been homeless; some are referred to us by local churches, and others are court appointed. The men who come into PIVOT are ministered to on a spiritual, emotional, and physical level. The men’s spiritual needs are met by using Christian based Biblical principles. Their emotional/psychological needs are met through one-on-one and group counseling. Their physical needs are met through traditional medical intervention and use of the facilities of the YMCA in Norwalk and Bridgeport.
A silent auction will be a part of the festivities at the Graduation Banquet/ Celebration. I am asking you for items that people will want to bid on - such as TV’s, DVD players, video game players, CD players, sporting goods, golf clubs, fishing gear, etc. The proceeds from this silent auction will help to offset the costs of putting on the graduation. Any additional funds raised as a result of this banquet/celebration will go towards the daily operating costs of PIVOT.
Thank you in advance for your consideration of PIVOT MINISTRIES.
Please feel free to contact me for any further information.
